Rolf Blancke is a German biologist and scientific author who has published four books about tropical plants, fruits and gardening. Rolf and his wife Juana have been living and guiding tours in the southern Caribbean village of Puerto Viejo since 1998.

Together they have been offering rainforest excursions and later also bird watching tours. The newest addition is our fruit and spice garden with over 200+ species of exotic fruit trees and spices.

In 2019 the German TV station  ZDF made a short documentary about our lives and our work in the rainforests of Costa Rica.
